In Memoriam - Tom Phillips

The Buckeye chapter lost a dear friend Saturday after a long battle with cancer. Tom Phillips was our longtime claim caretaker and host to nearly every visitor to the claim. Below is an announcement from our website forum.

Saturday, October 8th, 10:30 am there will be an informal memorial service to honor the memory of our friend Tom Phillips. We will meet at the little pavillion where we could usually find him enjoying his days.
His family has also authorized an auction of some of his prospecting gear at the meeting to help pay for final expenses.
