Rare find at the DD today!!

While panning today I was surprised to find a small trapiche garnet. I didn't know they were in this part of the world much less right at the DD. This is a stone I'd expect to see come out of Burma or some other distant land. Has anyone else ever found one of these???
I was going to insert a picture of it but apparently I don't know what I am doing on the computer.
Anyway the picture is not that great and the little crystal looks much better in person.
