I was wondering how many members are planning to be at the Double D Claim for the Fourth of July Cookout.
Please make a post below if you are planning on being there.

There's no cure for Gold Fever, but the symptoms are treatable.

I will be there also and have planned a fossil dig Saturday at 9 AM for anyone that would like to go on this dig.
http://www.vasichkominerals.com/Georgetown.html
We will dig for an hour or so or until everyone bags the limit. Just kidding, there is no limit.
Some nice fossils can be found without tools just laying on the ground, but I will bring some hammers and chisels.
Please bring your own tooling if you have it: gloves, rock pick, hammer and chisel, safety glasses, bag, bucket or gold pan for collecting, and clothing suitable for light rock climbing (some of the best layers are 6-10 off the ground)
We will meet up at the Double D fire ring at 9 AM.
The cookout and your chance to win some very nice prizes will begin at 4 PM on Saturday.

A big thank you to everyone who helped put on the cookout and fossil dig. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
