4Th of July Weekend Cookout at the Double D

#1 Post by MAIL MAN »

I have a fossil dig planned for Saturday at 9 AM for anyone that would like to go.

We will dig for an hour or so or until everyone bags the limit. Just kidding, there is no limit.
Some nice fossils can be found without tools just laying on the ground, but I will bring some extra hammers and chisels.
Please bring your own tooling if you have it: gloves, rock pick, hammer and chisel, safety glasses, bag, bucket or gold pan for collecting, and clothing suitable for light rock climbing (some of the best layers are 6-10 off the ground)
We will meet up at the Double D fire ring at 9 AM.

The cookout and your chance to win some very nice prizes will begin at 5 PM on Sunday. The club will supply hamburgers, hotdogs and the buns. Please bring a side dish for the potluck.

I added an album to the gallery each, the Fossil Dig and the Cookout. If anyone has pictures they would like to share please add them to the gallery or send them to me and I will add them. I hope everyone had as much as I did this weekend.
