SOLD- auction #1, Prospector Emblem

#1 Post by Patrick »

Alright prospectors and friends, the next round of fundraising auctions is now beginning. Before bidding please refer to the complete auction rules found in this board. For your convenience here are some important highlights of the rules:

* In case if a tie at the end of the auction the first of the tied bids will be given precedence.
* All bids will be in whole dollar amounts
* Shipping will be available at actual cost and must be paid with the winning bid before shipping (or items can always be delivered at our meetings.
* Bids made after the posted closing time(s) will be refused so bid early!

* note: The rule requiring bid raises to eqaul or better previous raises has been removed
---------------------------------------------------------------------

For your consideration is a "Prospector" emblem which was manufactured in the early 1980's and available on a few Dodge vehicles. Painted in gold and black, these emblems are very scarce. With a little emblem adhesive available at any auto parts store, you can proudly display your love of prospecting to other drivers!

This item will begin with the first $10 bid and will end March 9 at 10:00 p.m. eastern time. Good luck to all bidders!

It has come to the attention of the administration that there is a flaw in the new auction rule pertaining to bid raise requirements so it has been decided to void the rule. Bid raises are no longer required to equal or better previous bid raises. If you agree to the new rule change feel free to join the auction!
This notice will be posted on each of the two items currently listed. Should this change be unacceptable to bidders who have posted prior to this notice, the bidder may retract their bid. Any bid that was removed due to failure to follow the old rule may now be resubmitted by the bidder.

Thanks for your understanding and sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this rule change may cause.
